Lucas is an executive leader with 20+ years of experience driving global programs that foster social impact through intercultural education and exchange. As Chief Organization Development & Strategy Officer at AFS Intercultural Programs, he leads global strategy, organizational development, and network alignment across 60 countries. Lucas also teaches doctoral students at NYU Steinhardt, focusing on change and innovation. He holds a doctorate from NYU in Organizational Behavior and Learning, a master’s from the London School of Economics, and a certificate in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania. His work integrates expertise in organizational psychology, leadership, and innovation to guide complex transformations and build agile, mission-driven cultures. Lucas has also developed volunteer leadership tools used in over 60 countries, supporting more than 50,000 individuals. He is passionate about cultivating global citizens who lead with purpose, equity, and sustainability.
