Becky joined the Board of World Neighbors in 2016 and served two years as Board Chair ending June 30, 2024.  She has been on two journeys to visit some of our communities in Nepal and Kenya.  She will go on a third journey to Guatemala in 2025.  She joined the Tulsa Master Gardeners in 2015 and is currently the Past-President of the Tulsa Master Gardener Foundation.  She serves on the board of Smiles of Faith, a new non-profit that provides free basic dental service to underserved communities in Tulsa.  Becky retired from being President and CEO of Tulsa Global Alliance (TGA) in July, 2015.  Tulsa Global Alliance is a non-profit located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, dedicated to increasing global understanding and linking people and institutions worldwide.

She is a retired certified public accountant (CPA) and her diverse career includes working in the oil and gas industry, owning a tax practice, teaching (14 years) at the University of Tulsa as an accounting instructor in the College of Business and as an adjunct instructor in the College of Law, teaching in other countries and serving as VP of Finance and Administration of another non-profit.  Volunteerism, family, travel, gardening, cooking and education are key components in her life.  She has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Hungary, and New Zealand and has traveled extensively – so far to 7 continents, 53 countries and 46 U.S. states.
