 WOW! (Work of Women) is a World Neighbors initiative to raise awareness about the issues women in poor, rural communities face and do something about it. A membership organization of World Neighbors, WOW! supporters are dedicated to making women’s dreams come true, supporting income generation, micro-credit, health, agriculture and literacy and training programs for women living in some of the poorest, most remote areas of the world.
WOW! also supports social transformation within entire societies. By opening up dialogues between women and among their communities, the needs of women have become better understood and women and girls have become more valued members of society.
