Volunteering with World Neighbors U.S.-based Headquarters

Looking for a great place to volunteer? Become a World Neighbors volunteer today and support our U.S.-based headquarters staff as we make a difference in the lives of communities throughout the world. World Neighbors volunteers are advocates, event-planners, local community fundraisers, outreach representatives and provide departmental administrative and technical support. World Neighbors volunteers assist our U.S.-based headquarters staff with annual opportunities such as our WorldFest fair trade festival and Walk for Women program events. On a monthly basis, volunteers provide administrative and technical support to our marketing and communications and resource development departments with data entry, donor mailings, corporate outreach mailings, event promotions, donor appreciation and much more. The majority of our volunteer opportunities are located in Oklahoma. Work of Women house party hosts, Work of Women bake sale organizer, Work of Women network founders and World Neighbors gift catalog promoters can complete their volunteer opportunities outside of Oklahoma with the assistance of self-directed volunteer opportunity toolkits and support staff. We do not offer volunteer opportunities for non-native residents in our field offices in Asia, Africa or Latin America as it conflicts with our program approach of native people training each other to address their own problems and formulate their own solutions. All volunteer opportunities are non-paid.

If you are interested in becoming a World Neighbors volunteer, please complete an online volunteer interest form. In addition to completing the online form, please send Kathie Sanders a quick message to ensure your form is processed correctly at ksanders@wn.org.
