World Neighbors offers a limited number of short-term internships and volunteer opportunities at our headquarters located in Oklahoma City, Okla. and across the country. We currently do not offer internships and volunteer opportunities overseas, but we are working towards being able to offer internship opportunities in the near future.

Looking for a great place to volunteer? Become a World Neighbors volunteer today and support our headquarters staff as we make a difference in the lives of communities throughout the world. World Neighbors volunteers are advocates, event-planners, local community fundraisers, outreach representatives and provide departmental administrative and technical support.
World Neighbors volunteers assist , volunteers provide administrative and technical support to our marketing and communications and resource development departments with data entry, donor mailings, corporate outreach mailings, event promotions, donor appreciation and much more.
The majority of our volunteer opportunities are located in Oklahoma. Other events, such as WorldFest, hosting a House Party, fundraising bake sale or garage sale organizer, Work of Women network founders and World Neighbors gift catalog promoters can be led by volunteers outside of Oklahoma, but with the assistance of self-directed event toolkits and support staff.
We do not offer volunteer opportunities for non-native residents in our field offices in Asia, Africa or Latin America as it conflicts with our program approach of local people training each other to address their own problems and formulate their own solutions. All volunteer opportunities are non-paid.

World Neighbors offers limited internship opportunities to undergraduate and graduate level college students to support our headquarters staff during fall, spring and summer semesters. Interns are responsible for assisting with the weekly and monthly needs of our organization. Interns are advocates, event-planners, fundraisers, grant-writers, interpreters, outreach representatives, researchers, translators and much more.
The majority of our internship opportunities are located in our Oklahoma City headquarters and will work with staff located in that office. All internship opportunities are non-paid.
