World Neighbors invests in people themselves through education and training, not by giving away material aid.

We provide knowledge and strengthen local capacities for change rather than merely handing out technology or money.

This makes our programs very efficient and creates lasting change rather than a short-term fix.

Breastfeeding program in Bolivia dispels myths

The Pan American Health and Education Foundation financed a grant to World Neighbors to develop healthier practices in infant nutrition and overall health in the remote Potosi region of Bolivia. The changes promoted by the project have helped half of the undernourished children reach a healthy weight. Click here to read about this project.
